State Farm Illinois Operations Center has been named the exclusive Pacesetter for the 2011 Campaign. The Operations Center employee campaign will set the pace for the entire community with their results being highlighted throughout the 2011 Campaign. As the Pacesetter, the Operation Center’s will run a model campaign including the following elements:
- Visible executive support of the campaign
- A formal Leadership Giving campaign
- Formal United Way educational meetings for employees
- A corporate match based on the number of employees
Tony Bird, Underwriting Team Manager, has been named Chair of the 2011 Pacesetter Campaign Committee. Tony, a former United Way Loaned Executive, is leading a committee of Operations Center employees who are working closely with United Way staff to plan their employee campaign. Committee members include: Amy Aeilts, Marketing Analyst; Ethan Ax, Communications Specialist; and Carolyn Thomas, Ad Services Supervisor. Ann Baughan, Vice President of Operations, is providing executive support to the Committee.
The 2011 Pacesetter Campaign will kick off on August 22 and run through September 2. The results of the Pacesetter Campaign will be announced in late September.
