Each fall the United Way of McLean County staff doubles in size to focus on the annual fundraising campaign. The additional staff members are called Loaned Executives. These individuals are on loan to United Way from their employers, some full-time and some part-time, from August through November. The Loaned Executives manage company employee campaigns and secure CEO support of employee campaigns. As ambassadors for United Way of McLean County, the Loaned Executives are also responsible for educating the community on the importance of investing in United Way. Through their participation in this program, the Loaned Executives develop strong management skills and a heightened awareness of the social service needs in their community.
In 2011, the Loaned Executive Program includes employees from Afni, COUNTRY Financial, GROWMARK, State Farm Corporate Headquarters and State Farm Illinois Operations Center. Our thanks go out to these organizations as the Loaned Executives are critical to the success of the fundraising campaign!
